Equine Sports Massage and Bodywork – $85*
Bodywork serves as the cornerstone of preventative maintenance. It increases circulation, flexibility, and range of motion while decreasing pain, inflammation, stress, and tension. All horses benefit from massage, especially those with heavy workloads or pre-existing conditions such as arthritis. A typical bodywork session includes a gait analysis, 60-90 minute full-body massage including focal point work and stretching, teaching the owner massage and/or stretching techniques to use to help the horse between sessions, and a written evaluation detailing the session findings and recommendations.
Kinesiology Taping – Starting at $25*
Kinesiology tape decompresses the underlying tissue to provide a multitude of benefits including increased circulation, analgesia (pain relief), improved proprioception, muscle and joint support. Whether looking to speed recovery, support compromised joints, provide relief, aid muscle development, or rehabilitate neurological deficits, applications exist for every individual, horse or rider! Available in conjunction with massage or as a standalone therapy.
Saddle Fitting – $150*
Proper saddle fit helps both horse and rider perform to the best of their ability. Every saddle should be checked at least twice a year to ensure the best fit possible. Poor saddle fit causes behavioral outbursts, lameness, and general decrease in performance. Emma works with both English and Western saddles of all brands, makes, and models, with the priority being horse and rider comfort. Each fitting includes a conformational assessment, gait evaluation, back tracing, static and dynamic saddle fit assessment, and adjustments and recommendations as needed. Sessions typically run 1-2 hours depending on the number of saddles tried and the specific needs of the horse and rider.
Bit and Bridle Fitting Consultations – Starting at $50*
Much like saddle fit, bit and bridle fit are essential to keep our equine athletes comfortable and performing at the top of their ability.
